Jus-Roll puff pastry block
Chilled uncooked puff pastry block - simply roll out and add your filling. Suitable for vegans.
Wheat Flour, Water, Vegetable Oil, Salt, Lemon Juice, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Emulsifier (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids)
Preparation & Storage
- Preparing the pastry: 1. Take out of the fridge about 20 minutes before using. 2. Roll out the pastry while still cool to your required thickness on a lightly floured surface. After rolling out, allow to stand for a few minutes before using. 3. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (200°C for assisted ovens) /Gas Mark 7, or at the temperature required in your recipe. All you need... 500g Jus-Rol puff pastry. 5 tbsp tomato purée. 6 large tomatoes - thinly sliced. 1 ball of mozzarella cheese - sliced. 5-6 slices cooked ham-each slice halved a handful of fresh basil (optional). It's so easy... Follow pastry preparation instructions. Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 7. 1. Roll out pastry to a rectangle measuring approx. 28cm x 38cm and place on a lined baking tray. 2. Spread with tomato purée, leaving a 2.5cm border all around to allow the pastry to puff up, top with tomato, mozzarella and ham and bake for about 20 minutes until golden. 3. Keep refrigerated. Home Freezing: Freeze on day of purchase. Consume within 1 month. To defrost thaw overnight in your fridge or alternatively for 2 hours at room temperature. Once thawed do not refreeze.
