- Chocolate BrowniesMakes: 12-15 slicesIngredients125g dark chocolate250g butter325g golden caster sugar4 medium eggs - beaten100g McDougalls Plain Flour50g cocoa powder50g pistachio nuts - roughly choppedIcing sugar for dustingPreheat fan oven to 160°C, conventional 180°C, Gas Mark 4. Grease and line the base of a tin (28x 18x 3cm). Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl and place over a pan of boiling water, until the chocolate has melted. Pour the chocolate mixture into a large bowl and add the sugar. Add eggs gradually, beating well. Sift together the flour and cocoa powder then add to the chocolate mixture. Stir in the nuts and pour into the prepared tin. Bake in the centre of the oven for 40 minutes.
