Waitrose Chianti Classico
Waitrose Chianti Classico is made in partnership with Barone Ricasoli at Castello di Brolio in Chianti. The Ricasoli family was the first ever producer of Chianti and, as their continue to strive for top quality, are regarded amongst the best in Tuscany. Bright ruby red with a generous and enveloping bouquet, showing hints of violets, ripe berries and spices. The palate is full with a soft, velvety texture, demonstrating the potential grace and finesse of the Sangiovese grape. Best served with red meats, especially fillet steak, with grilled vegetables and roast potatoes.
