Extra virgin olive oil (39%), sliced black olives in brine (36%), anchovy pieces in sunflower oil (17%), capers in brine (5%), wine vinegar
Add the mixed ingredients to crushed or chopped tomatoes, heat in a saucepan for 1-2 minutes. Add basil, garlic or other spices as required. For a typical Roman pasta sauce, fry the Puttanesca mix with garlic, chilli and chopped tomatoes and combine with cooked pasta.
Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated below 5ºC and consume within 28 days.
