Our free range chickens are reared exclusively for Waitrose on small, family farms in Northern Ireland. By day they are free to roam in open pastures and exhibit their natural behaviour. By night, they are protected in purpose built sheds and are fed a natural, cereal based diet.

Preparation & Storage
- Do not wash poultry before cooking (in bold text) Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place in a roasting dish, brush with oil and place in an oven until thoroughly cooked, the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. (Time 25 - 30 mins Oven: 200�C, Fan: 180�C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6)
For best results pan fry. Remove all packaging. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, add chicken, cook on high heat to seal, turn and seal other side, reduce heat until thoroughly cooked, the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. (Time 12 - 15 mins)
Keep refrigerated below 4ºC. Do not exceed use by date. Once opened, consume within 2 days. Do not exceed use by date
