Romanesco is an old Italian vegetable variety that has been rediscovered. It has a milder, more creamy, nutty flavour. This romanesco has been hand harvested, wash thoroughly first and prepare just like standard broccoli or cauliflower. The texture of romanesco is more tender making it ideal to eat raw as a crudites or spice up a cauliflower cheese
Preparation & Storage
- Remove all packaging, cut away outer leaves and stalks, then divide into florets and wash thoroughly before cooking.
