Preparation & Storage
- Preparing your pastry 1. Take out of the fridge and remove the carton and outer plastic wrap approximately 30 minutes before use. In a hurry? Alternatively, take out of fridge, remove from carton and outer plastic, place on a microwaveable plate and warm on full power in an 850W/E rated microwave (refer to user's manual if other) for 10 seconds and allow to stand for 1 minute before use. 2. Unroll the pastry sheet. 3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (180°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 6, or at the temperature required in your recipe. Mend the Cracks Unrolling too fast can lead to cracks. Don't worry - you can repair your pastry by wetting your fingers and gently smoothing it together again. The Finishing Touch is a golden glaze. Brush a little beaten egg over the top of your pastry before baking for a glorious sheen to the finished dish. Unroll and Go! All our pastry sheets are rolled with baking paper which makes it easier for you to handle and you can use in the oven!
Keep refrigerated below 5°C…Home freezing: Freeze on day of purchase. Consume within 1 month. To defrost thaw overnight in your fridge or alternatively for 2 hours at room temperature. Once thawed do not refreeze.…For Use By: See Front of Pack.
