Waitrose New Zealand venison is seasonally tender and has a mild game flavour, it is produced from red deer that are reared in open pastures, graze freely and are fed on a natural balanced diet. We work with a small group of specialist farmers in New Zealand, selecting them for their high standards of animal husbandry, welfare and commitment to sustainable farming. We’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact, which is why we’re moving to this packaging on a selection of fresh meat. - Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat.
Keep refrigerated. For use by date see front of pack. Once opened consume within 1 day. Do not exceed use by date. This product has previously been frozen and returned to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within 1 month Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
