Jus-Roll uncooked sweet dessert pastry
Chilled uncooked sweet shortcrust pastry block - simply roll out and add your filling.

- Just bake pastry until goldenand top with crème fraiche, strawberries and chocolatePreparing the pastry:1. Take out of the fridge about 15 minutes before using.2. Roll out the pastry while still cool to your required thickness, on a lightly floured surface. After rolling out, allow to stand for a few minutes before using.3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (180°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 6, or at the temperature required in your recipe.Easy Strawberry ShortcakesAll you need...375g Jus-Rol sweet shortcrust pastrySugarFew flaked almonds (optional)24 strawberries - quartered1 tub crème fraiche or whipped double cream3-4 squares chocolateIt's so easy...Follow pastry preparation instructions. Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 6.1. Roll out pastry and cut out 12 discs (approx. 10cm) and place on a lined baking sheet.2. Prick discs lightly with a fork then brush with a little water. Sprinkle each with sugar and scatter 6 with flaked almonds.3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until pale golden and allow to cool. Melt the chocolate and drizzle over the almond pastry discs and allow to set.4. Meanwhile place a generous dessert spoon of crème fraiche on top of each of the plain pastry discs, top with strawberries and pop a chocolate topped disc on top.
