Wine of Mátra, Hungary. Ripe apple and honey flavours with a long spicy finish. Estate bottled. Pinot Grigio - Dry White Hungarian Wine. Under the watchful eye of our resident winemaker, selected grapes were hand-picked at optimum ripeness before being carefully fermented at cool temperatures thereby retaining their varied fruit and aromatic qualities. Mátra Mountain Pinot Grigio is a crisp dry white, with ripe apple and pear flavours and a pleasantly long finish. Enjoy chilled on its own, or perfect with fish, chicken and delicately flavoured oriental dishes. The location of the Mátra vineyards - on the southern slopes of the Mátra mountains - benefits from a unique microclimate, allowing the largest Pinot Grigio vineyard in Central Europe to produce truly exceptional quality grapes.
