Preparation & Storage
- Twist over your morning egg, lunchtime salad and evening eats. Essential for all occasions. Tropical Fruit Flambé Serves 4 Peel 1 small pineapple and cut into chunks. Peel 1 large ripe mango and cut the flesh into chunks. Thickly slice 2 bananas. Coarsely grind 1 tsp Bart Fairtrade Black Peppercorns and sprinkle over the pineapple. Stir in 1 tsp Bart ground cinnamon and the grated rind of 1/2 an orange. In a frying pan melt together 2 tsp muscavado sugar & 40g butter. Add the pineapple & juice of 1/2 an orange. Cook for 3 minutes until beginning to soften. Add the mango and bananas. Heat 2 tbsp rum and ignite. Pour over the fruit, allow the flames to die down and serve.
Store in a cool, dry place.
