An upbeat music track.
A beautiful spring day, in the middle of idyllic countryside. Butterflies flutter above a meadow full of buttercups and daisies. The sun glistens on a trickling stream.
In the centre of the meadow, we see some people wearing dark green uniforms. They unfurl an enormous picnic blanket. They pull it to the four corners of the field. Others lay white china plates, others carry hampers and baskets. We see subtle, but very clear glimpses of the Waitrose logo on their clothing.
Over the brow of a hill, a family appears. The young girl excitedly points towards the meadow and the huge picnic blanket. They start to run.
Another family on bicycles arrive down a bumpy track. And another family and another. A retired couple help each other over a stile. Some children and their family dog, paddle across the stream. More and more people descend on the meadow to join in the picnic.
A cow pops his head over the hedge for a closer look. There must be hundreds of them.
As the families arrive and find a spot on the blanket. The Waitrose partners pass them delicious looking food: mouth-watering asparagus quiche, picnic sausages, pork pies, Jersey royal potatoes, rhubarb fool. The people share and tuck into the food.
Bottles of white and rose wine are pulled, dripping, from ice buckets. The children slurp cloudy lemonade.
VO: Everyone deserves quality, everyone deserves Waitrose.
The camera rises up and we get a real scale of this amazing feast. It must be Britain's biggest picnic. The Waitrose logo fades up against the bright blue sky.
