East End Pink Peanuts
Suitable for vegetarians. Pink peanuts. Peanuts are traditionally natives of tropical America, but are now grown world-wide. They are commonly roasted and salted and are much used in baking and confectionery, savoury sauces and snacks.

- Spicy Nut MixA tasty snack, ideal with drinks. Serves 660g/2oz butter1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed60g/2oz unblanched East End Almonds60g/2oz unsalted East End Cashews60g/2oz unsalted East End Peanuts1 tsp curry powder 1/4 tsp chilli powder60g/2oz East End Golden SultanasSalt to tasteMelt the butter in a frying pan. Add the garlic, almonds, cashews and peanuts. Stir in curry powder and chilli powder and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in the raisins Season with salt to taste and mix well. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve warm or cold.Remember small children can choke on nuts.
Once opened store contents in an airtight containerunder cool, dry conditions.
