Twinings chai 50 tea bags
Sweet&spicy celebration. Chai. India is a place of vibrant colour, where the air is filled with fragrant and exotic spices. Our master blenders have journeyed to the southern blue mountains range to find this delicate black tea, the same as that used by the local Chai Wallahs. This hand plucked tea is then blended with the flavour of Indian spices for a sweet taste. Let each sip take you there... The journey from the tea garden to your cup... When it comes to tea we're a little different from everybody else. The way we buy and blend is unique; we choose from more origins than anyone else and have a blender dedicated to each of these locations. What they don't know about their tea gardens and where to find the best quality, isn't worth knowing. It is said that 7 is a lucky number, for us it's the number of times the master blenders taste each batch to make sure that the quality from its exotic origin reaches your cup. If you liked your tea with spice, we think you'll also like Twinings Lemon&Ginger and Twinings Camomile&Spiced Apple. Discover something new with Twinings. Ethical Tea Partnership. We care about the communities where our tea is grown and picked and this is why we are a founder member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, which works to improve tea workers' welfare and the environment in which they live. Twinings have also supported a range of projects since 2004, including improving health services and nutrition, providing access to clean water, better education and assisting children with disabilities. Together with our partners we have helped over half a million children in China and India. To find out more about our projects visit www.twinings.co.uk. Once upon a time... Chai was drunk only by the royalty in India. But they couldn't keep it to themselves for long. Soon the secret recipe spilled out of the palaces and into everyone's homes. Nowadays, the aromatic scent of cinnamon, ginger and cloves fills the air of every street in India.
