Hambleton Ales Stallion Beer
£1.84 (£3.68 per litre)
SIBA - member of society of independent brewers. Premium Yorkshire bitter. ''A distinctly malty character, with a hint of nuttiness, from Crystal and Roasted barley. The enhanced hopping rate of Northdown and First Gold hops used to produce every bottle of this premium ale harks back to the good old days of a true Yorkshire bitter taste experience''. Nick Stafford. Legend of the White Horse. Galloping over the Hambleton hills is a giant white horse. It was created in 1857 by a grocer, Thomas Taylor who, having made his fortune in London, wanted to leave his mark on his birthplace. So, with thirty local men and six tonnes of lime, the White Horse wasscored by hand into the hillside. At Hambleton Ales we raise a glass to the inspirational Mr. Taylor whose vision has stood the test of time and whose extravagance enlivens the landscape of Yorkshire to this day. Just like Mr. Taylor, Hambleton Ales leaves a lasting impression.
