Preparation & Storage
- Directions:1. In large bowl combine contents of one bag with 100 ml (1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp) water. Let stand 10 minutes. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. 2. Pour corn oil into heavy skillet or saucepan to a depth of 1/2 inch. Heat to 180°C. Add Falafel and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove; drain on paper towels. Makes about 12 Falafel balls.Serving Suggestion: Traditionally served in pita bread with lettuce, tomato and tehina sauce. Falafel also makes a perfect hors d'oeuvre served together with cut vegetables and dips.
