- Mix the contents of the packet with 280ml (10 fl oz) of boiling water and 25g of butter. Mix thoroughly and allow to stand for 10 minutes before stuffing the joint. When stuffing meat or poultry, use the total weight of the dish including the stuffing to calculate the cooking time. To make stuffing balls, just add the boiling water, mix thoroughly and allow to stand for 15 minutes. Then take a heaped tea spoon and hand roll into balls.
