Preparation & Storage
- To make delicious and authentic Halwa Pudding Boil two cups of water and add 6oz. of sugar. Stir this into a syrup. Take it off the heat after the sugar has blended in. Melt 4oz. of butter or margarine in a separate saucepan. Add one cup of Semolina and stir in over a gentle heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring continuously. Now add the syrup to the mixture and stir vigorously. Add flaked almonds and sultanas if, so desired. Turn the heat low and stir gently until the mixture has become thick. Serve hot or cold.
Once opened store contents in an airtight container under cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight.…For best before end see reverse.
