Guacamole

Guacamole

A distinctive green-coloured, spicy smooth dip from south America, made from avocados, garlic, lemon juice and chilli. Fresh guacamole and fresh reduced fat guacamole are available.

Uses: Guacamole is usually served with tortilla chips, crisps, crudité or breadsticks for dipping. It is often served with another popular south American dip, salsa. Guacamole can be spread in sandwiches instead of butter and then topped with your favourite fillings - crispy bacon, chicken or grated cheese all work well. Flour tortillas can be spread with guacamole and salsa before topping with chicken or meat or vegetable chilli.

To store: Keep in the fridge for up to 1 week and eat by the use before date.
