Tequila

Tequila

Tequila is the national spirit of Mexico and is made from the juice of the agave plant.

Uses: Tequila is traditionally served ice cold in small shot glasses. Before drinking you should squeeze a wedge of lime and pour salt onto the back of your hand, lick each in turn and then drink the tequila down in one go. For a simpler drink try it with fresh orange juice and ice or make a Margarita mix equal measures of tequila and Cointreau with the juice of half a lime and plenty of ice.
