Beef, rice & broccoli stir-fry

A sweeter take on a quick and tasty stir fry.

200g essential Waitrose Easy Cook Long Grain Rice
1 tbsp olive oil
350g pack essential Waitrose British Beef Thin Cut Feather Steak (or 340g pack essential Waitrose British Beef Frying Steak), thinly sliced
1 essential Waitrose Onion, sliced
500g frozen essential Waitrose Broccoli Florets, defrosted
2 tbsp essential Waitrose Tomato Purée
3 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp essential Waitrose Pure Clear Honey


1. Cook the rice in boiling water for 12–15 minutes until just tender, then drain.

2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the beef and onion for 5 minutes. Add the broccoli and fry for 3 minutes.

3. Mix together the tomato purée, soy and honey and add to the pan with the rice. Stir well to combine and serve.
