Garlic and Chilli Cavolo Nero

Other varieties of kale, spinach, swiss chard or cabbage would also work well - Melissa and Jasmine Hemsley

Serves: 6 - 8


1 tbsp unsalted butter

3 garlic cloves, finely sliced

1 red chilli (to taste), finely sliced

400g cavolo nero, stalks removed and leaves sliced into 2cm ribbons


1. Heat the butter in a large frying pan set over a medium heat. Add the garlic and fry for 1 minutes, until turning light golden, then add the chilli and cavolo nero. Season and stir for 3-4 minutes, until the cavolo nero has wilted.
