lamb couscous

lamb couscous is a very traditional moroccan dish which have been used for centuries as a very healthy winter food to keep the body healthy, warm and factional to everyday life.

  • 350g Lamb 1 Kilo Couscous Vegetables

    4 Pilled chopped tomatoes
    2 Chopped onions
    Hand full of chopped curled parsley
    4 Cougettes
    4 Chopped potatoes
    1/4 lb. Broad beans
    1/4 lb. Chic peas
    1/4 lb. Pumpkin
    1/4 lb. carrot


    1 Spoon Paprika
    1/2 Spoon Salt
    1/2 Spoon Black Paper
    1 Big spoon Olive Oil
    1/4 Spoon chilly Powder ( Heat the taste )
    1 Tiny bit of saffron
    1/4 Cumin


  1. Mix the tomatoes, onions, parsley 1 spoon paprika, 1/2 spoon salt, 1/2 spoon black paper, 1 big son olive oil, 1/4 spoon chilly powder 1 tiny bit of saffron, 1/4 cumin, put everything in a heated pan and stir to a medium heat shouldn't last more than ten min. Then pour you meat in the pan and keep cocking for another 5 min. then pour a 1/2 litter of water into the pan and close and keep it cocking for about 1/2 hour that should have made the meat a bit tender, add all the vegetables now with more water as we will need to use this as a sauce for the couscous later on when serving, keeping cocking for 1/2 and let pan to cool down before serving. enjoy
