Mince pie vodka

  • INFUSE FOR 7-10 days

With its aromas of dried fruit and sweet spices, this will conjure up a kitchen in the throes of Christmas baking with just one sip.


700ml vodka
125g golden sultanas
75g caster sugar
1 cinnamon stick
5 cloves pared
zest of 1⁄2 lemon pared
zest of 1 orange


Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a large Kilner jar or wide-necked bottle.

Seal and leave to infuse for 7-10 days. Strain and decant into a pretty bottle or smaller presentation bottles.

Makes: about 850ml
