    Minty pea & chick pea burgers with tzatziki

    Serves: 4


    400g can essential Waitrose Chick Peas, drained
    300g can essential Waitrose Marrowfat Peas, drained
    2 tsp essential Waitrose Mint Sauce
    200g tub Waitrose Tzatziki
    1 egg, beaten
    50g breadcrumbs
    2 tbsp essential Waitrose Vegetable Oil


    1. Place the drained chick peas, marrowfat peas and mint sauce in a food processor with 2 tbsp of the tzatziki, blend to a coarse paste and season. Mould into 4 burgers.

    2. Dip the burgers into the beaten egg then coat with the breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and gently fry the burgers for 3 minutes on each side until golden.

    3. Serve with the remaining tzatziki and toasted essential Waitrose Pitta.
