Nutty baked apples

50g mixed nuts, roughly chopped
50g dried mixed fruit, roughly chopped
4 Bramley apples
Knob of butter
1. Preheat the oven to 200C, gas mark 6. Stir the mixed nuts and the dried fruit into the mincemeat.
2. Core the apples and, using a sharp knife, score around the middle. Fill with the mincemeat mixture, then place in an ovenproof dish with a little water. Top each apple with a knob of butter and bake for 35 minutes.
