Pasta with cherry tomatoes and basil

This is a dish that you can prepare anytime, within 5 minutes and guarantees success for its taste! Make sure you get the right ingredients though!

  • sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, onion and seasoning

    If you haven't got fresh basil you could use pesto but you won't get the same natural sweet taste of the fresh basil that makes this dish special!

    Any pasta: penne, or spaghetti or else.


  1. Cook pasta as per instructions. At the same time, prepare the sauce as follows: Slice a small onion and sauté in extra virgin olive oil until golden. Then add sweet and ripe cherry tomatoes which have been halved. The more tomatoes you put the more juicy and full of flavour your dish will be Add a pinch of salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes maximum, so the tomatoes will release their juice. Chop your fresh basil leaves and add at the last minute before dressing the pasta with it.
