Serves: 4
400g strawberries
400ml whole milk
3 tsp caster sugar
¼-½ tsp rose extract
2-3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Dried rose petals, to serve (optional)
1. Set aside 4 strawberries, then roughly chop the rest. Tip into a blender and add the milk, sugar, rose extract and ice cream, then whizz until smooth. Divide between 4 glasses. Make a cut in each of the reserved strawberries, then sit them over the edge of the glasses. Decorate the milkshake with rose petals, if liked, and serve straight away.
Cook's tip: The rose extract adds a subtle floral note, but you could swap this for vanilla if you prefer.
