Whole roasted feta, figs & oregano

Serves: 4 as a starter or part of a spread
200g feta
4 figs
4 sprigs oregano
2 pinches sumac
1 lemon
olive oil, for drizzling
1 tbsp clear honey
1. Preheat the oven to 200˚C, gas mark 6. Put the feta in a small roasting dish. Cut the figs into quarters and nestle them around the cheese. Tear over the oregano leaves, sprinkle over the sumac and finely grate over the lemon zest. Slice the lemon into thin rounds and nestle the slices in too. Drizzle everything with a little oil, season and bake for 15 minutes. Drizzle over the honey and return to the oven for 5 minutes. Serve as part of a mezze spread or alongside a salad.
