Type Temp Well Done Medium Rare. Electric 180ºC 30 mins 25 mins 20 mins Per 500g (½Kg)…Fan 160ºC 30 mins 25 mins 20 mins Per 500g (½ Kg)…Gas Gas 4 30 mins 25 mins 20 mins Per 500g (½ Kg)……+ 25 mins + 20 mins + 15 mins. Preheat oven. Place the meat in a roasting tin. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Leave to rest in a warm place 10 minutes before carving. …Cooks Tip: Score the fat and season well, seal joint for 3-4 minutes in a hot frying pan, turning occasionally. Then cook as above.
