Pad is the Thai word for stir-fried, but the dish itself is of Vietnamese origin. It was adopted by Thailand in the 1940s and soon became a popular food served by street vendors there. In the West it is the most often ordered item on Thai restaurant menus. The traditional Thai sweet and sour taste forms the basis of Amy's Kitchen version of this dish with rice noodles, tofu, julienned carrots, green onions, broccoli and baked cashews instead of the more commonly used peanuts in the sauce.     Cook from frozen. Consume immediately after heating. Do not refreeze.Oven may vary.

    (800 W): Make a 2.5 cm slit in overwrap. Heat on high for 4 1/2-5 1/2 minutes. Let stand 1 minute. Serve.

    Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F. Remove overwrap. Cover tray with foil. Place on a baking tray. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let stand 1 minute. Serve.
