BENACORT® hayfever nasal spray is a non- drowsy formula that is both alcohol and scent free and provides 24 hour hay fever relief. Nothing is more effective for hay fever relief than BENACORT®*. This nasal spray is used to treat adults with inflammation in the nose caused by an allergy to pollen (hayfever). Symptoms may include sneezing and/or a runny, itchy or blocked nose. How to use BENACORT® Nasal Spray • The recommended dose is two sprays into each nostril in the morning. • If your symptoms improve, reduce this to one spray into each nostril in the morning. Each Spray contains: 64 Micrograms of Budesonide, Also contains Disodium Edetate, Microcrystalline Cellulose (E460), Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium (E466), Glucose Anhydrous, Hydrochloric Acid, Polysorbate 80 (E433), Purified Water and the Preservative Potassium Sorbate (E202)
Warnings
Read the package leaflet before use. Consult your doctor or pharmacist: before use, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if your symptoms have not improved after using the spray for 7 days, if you have tuberculosis, a chest infection, chicken pox or measles or have been in contact with somebody who has TB, chicken pox or measles. Do not store above 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Keep bottle in an upright position. Use within 2 months of opening. Keep out of the sight and reach of children
Preparation and Usage
Use only in the nose. Shake before use. Adults including elderly: 2 sprays into each nostril regularly each morning, may be reduced to 1 spray into each nose if symptoms are controlled. Do not use continuously for more than 1 month without consulting your doctor. Do not use in children and adolescents under 18 years. Do not use more than 2 sprays in each nostril in a day. Do not use if you are taking HIV medicines. Pump may need to be primed before use Therapeutic Indications: Relief of hay fever symptoms including nasal congestion, runny and itchy nose and sneezing
