Chilli & Coconut Brazilian Style Cook Sauce
Serves 2 in 15 mins. Chilli rating - hot. Made with Frutescens chillies. A serving provides 1 of your 5 a day. Non GM. Gluten free. No artificial colouring or flavourings. Suitable for vegetarians.Featuring Frutescens chillies this delicious & fragrant sauce is based on the classic dish 'Moqueca' ('Mo-Keh-Kah'), famously from Bahia State North of Rio. It's a flavoursome seafood stew, commonly cooked in 'Capixaba' pans that are made out of black clay & Mangrove tree sap.

    Preparation and Usage

    Here's a quick recipe idea - There's lots more on our website 1. Cut a pepper into strips, & place in a pan with 1 tbsp of oil over a medium-high heat & cook for 2 minutes. 2. Add a chopped onion & cook for a further 2 minutes & set aside. 3. Add 300g of chicken strips to the pan, cook for 8 mins, turning occasionally. Check the chicken is cooked through. 4. Return the peppers & onions to the pan, add sauce & stir through over heat. 5. Serve immediately with rice or a side of your choice.
