Oven cook

You will need.. 40g unsalted butter 2 medium eggs 150ml semi-skimmed cold milk which are not included. TO BAKE A CAKE: 1. Pre heat the oven:190ºC/375ºF/Fan 170ºC/Gas Mark 5 2. Grease and line 2 x 7' sandwich tins 3. Beat 40g unsalted butter in a large mixing bowl 4. Add the sponge mix, 2 medium eggs and 150ml semi-skimmed milk 5. Using an electric mixer, mix on slow for 30 seconds then fast for 2 minutes 6. Pour the mixture equally into the pre-lined tins 7. Bake in the centre of the oven for 25-30 minutes until well risen and golden 8. Allow to cool in the tins for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely. TO BAKE CUPCAKES: 1. Pre heat the oven:190ºC/375ºF/Fan 170ºC/Gas Mark 5 2. Place 12 cupcake cases into a cupcake baking tray 3. Beat 40g unsalted butter in a large mixing bowl 4. Add the sponge mix, 2 medium eggs and 150ml semi-skimmed milk 5. Using an electric mixer, mix on slow for 30 seconds then fast for 2 minutes 6. Pour the mixture equally into the 12 cupcake cases 7. Bake in the centre of the oven for 12-15 minutes until well risen and golden 8. Allow to cool in the tray for 5 mins before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely. (Time 25-30 minutes Oven: 190°C, Fan: 170°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 5)
