    Preparation and Usage

    We're here to help you get the best from your home baking McDougalls Thickening Granules Bring dish or liquid to the boil. Remove from the heat and stir in the Thickening Granules. You'll need approximately 2 tablespoons for every 300ml of liquid. Place back on the heat and continue stirring, using either a whisk or a fork, until all the granules dissolve and the liquid thickens. For extra thickness simply stir in more granules. Season to taste. Perfect for thickening your stews & casseroles For a Classic White Sauce Bring 300ml milk and 25g butter to the boil. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of thickening granules, return to the heat and continue stirring using a whisk or a fork until all the granules dissolve and the liquid thickens. For extra thickness simply stir in more granules.
