    Preparation and Usage

    You will need: 1 Nem Viet Pho Kit 100g beansprouts 700ml water 250g beef, very thinly sliced 1. Take the herb and spice sachet and place in a pan of 700ml boiling water, turn down the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes (Picture A). 2. Place the noodles in another pan and pour in boiling water, add the beef, place lid on the pan and leave for 3 minutes until meat is cooked (Picture B). 3. Remove the herb and spice sachet squeezing with a spoon against the edge of the pan and then discard. The herb soup is now ready. 4. Drain the noodles and beef. Place the cooked noodles & beef in individual serving bowls. 5. Ladle the herb soup over the noodles and top with beansprouts (Picture C & D). If making a vegetable Pho, add beansprouts and any other thinly sliced vegetables along with chunks of fried or baked Tofu. 6. Add the chili sauce and soyabean sauce as desired to your own taste. (Skip this step if making a vegetarian Pho). Serve hot. Tips: For more colour and flavour garnish with chopped coriander and spring onions. Substitute beef with cooked chicken, prawns or fish.
