Oven Cooking Instructions:……Gas 6, Electric 200ºC, Fan 180ºC. Rare: 8-10 minutes. Medium: 12-14 minutes. Well Done: 16-18 minutes. Preheat oven. Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan on high heat. Add steak and seal for approximately 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to an ovenable tray and place in the centre of a preheated oven. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Due to the natural variability in the thickness of the meat, the cooking instructions provided are a base guide. For thicker steaks of similar weight, additional cooking time may be required. Once removed from the oven, cover with kitchen foil and allow to rest prior to slicing. (Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6)
