PAN FRY. Rare 6 - 8 mins. Medium 8 - 10 mins. Well Done 10 - 12 mins. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in frying pan. Add steak and cook on a high heat to seal. Turn and seal other side. Reduce to medium heat. Due to the natural variability in the thickness of the meat, the cooking instructions provided are a base guide. For thicker steaks, additional cooking time may be required. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Add meadow butter to pan 1 minute before end. Rest for 10 minutes. Empty contents of blackberry sauce sachet in a suitably-sized saucepan, heat for 1 minute and pour over venison.
