Ginger & Turmeric Granola
Bring the heat. Baked with coconut oil. No refined sugars. Whole grain. High fibre. Suitable for vegans. Vegetarian Society approved.More than a new flavour. A new king of granola. You know us. We always like to mix things up a bit. This time we've completely changed the way we make granola, baking the oats with coconut oil and pear juice before we add the ginger and turmeric to get your morning going with a little more zing. Then we add some crunchy pumpkin and sunflower seeds that will make sure that zing in your step goes all the way through to lunchtime. Gold and Ginger Turmeric is actually a kind of ginger, though it has a soft and earthy flavour that soaks beautifully into the oats as well as turning the milk a beautiful gold colour. It pairs perfectly with its cousin, regular ginger, which brings a little heat to the party. Sweet or Savoury This granola walks the line between sweet and savoury. We call it swavoury. That's because we only use pear juice to sweeten it, and not much. Just enough to allow the ginger and turmeric flavours to sing.

    Preparation and Usage

    How we like it Granola is so much more than a cereal. Use it as a topping for kefir or lassis or turn it into an instant crumble, just sprinkle on stewed mango. Make your own golden milk: pour our Ultimate Almond Drink on this granola, stand back and watch it change colour.
