- Wash before use. Warning: Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this bag away from babies and small children.
Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Wash and dry the potatoes, but don't peel them. Cut into slices around 1/4' (8mm) thick and tip the potatoes onto a baking tray with 1 tbsp. olive oil and salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Bake in the oven until golden and cooked through (about 30 mins). Serve hot from the oven. (Time SAUTEE 15-20 mins)
20-25 mins. Adjust oven rack to lowest position. Turn the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Wash potatoes and either use whole or half (adjust cooking times accordingly). Toss potatoes as required with oil and pepper. arrange, if halved cut side down on a baking tray. Roast until tender and golden, about 25 minutes (check after 15 minutes). Cooking times will vary if halved as this depends on the sizes of the potato. Transfer to a serving dish. ( Oven: 180°C, Fan: Fan 160°C, Gas: Gas Mark Gas 4)
