For Chinese New Year, Lee Kum Kee is offering to 10 lucky winners the opportunity to learn how to make simple yet authentic Chinese dishes in a special cookery class at Waitrose Cookery School in King’s Cross, London. Each winner can bring a friend or family to the class! The cooking lesson will take place on the 23rd of March 2019.

All participants will also receive a "Wok Along with Lee Kum Kee" recipe book (80 pages) by simply purchasing any Lee Kum Kee product to enter the competition with your receipt.*

Lee Kum Kee invented Oyster sauce in 1888, when Lee Kum Sheung was working at his restaurant in Southern China, where he sold cooked oysters. He was boiling a pot of oyster soup, but lost track of time, when he remembered he found that the soup had simmered down to a thick sauce, with an irresistible, delicious new flavour. Since then, he started selling this as ‘Oyster Sauce’, which has become one of the most used sauces in Chinese restaurants and households across the world. It’s tradition for families celebrating Chinese New Year to stock up on authentic ingredients and sauces before the festivities begin.
