Entries must be e-mailed to weekendcompetition@waitrose.co.uk and entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions.

Only one entry per person.

Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and UK residents. Entrants must not be employees of the John Lewis Partnership, their dependents or anyone else connected with the promotion.

All entries must be received by 11.59pm on 11/12/2019 and include the answer to the question and the entrant’s name and address. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are incomplete, invalid, illegible, or lost or delayed in transit or which fail to be properly submitted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

No automated, third party or bulk entries permitted.

The prize consists of a framed print of Bettys tea rooms.

The prize will be awarded to the first valid entry with the correct answer to the question, selected at random on 12/12/2019 from all the valid correct entries received by the closing date.

The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

The prize must be accepted as offered; there is no cash alternative.

Winner will be notified by email by 14 December 2019.

The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize by return e-mail within 21 days, otherwise Waitrose & Partners reserve the right to redraw the prize.

If the winner of the draw is unable to take up a prize for any reason, Waitrose & Partners reserves the right to award it to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever.

If events occur that render the promotion or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond Waitrose & Partners’s reasonable control it may, at its discretion, vary or amend the promotion accordingly.
