Pecan nut

The pecan is related to the walnut and is sometimes known as the hickory nut. It is grown mainly in the USA and was once the staple food of the American Indians.

Uses: Best eaten as they are but can be incorporated in cake recipes and salads.

To store: Store in a cool dry place. Once opened store in an airtight container and consume within 7 days.
