Wafers
Crispy, thin wafers are the classic accompaniment to ice cream. Choose from traditional oblong wafers or fan-shaped wafers at Waitrose.
Uses: The classic way to serve block ice cream is to slice and sandwich between two wafers. Fan wafers can be used to top scoops of ice cream or more luxurious ice cream, fruit and chocolate desserts such as banana split or knickerbocker glory.
To store: Keep in a cool, dark place. Once opened store in an airtight container. Consume by the use by date.
