    Cajun Bean Wraps

    • Vegetarian
    • Total time: 20 minutes, plus soaking 20 minutes

    Makes: 4 wraps


    • Waitrose Wholesome Organic Red Kidney Beans
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 red pepper, diced and deseeded
    • 1-2 tsp Schwartz Cajun Seasoning
    • 4 Mission Multigrain Deli Wraps
    • Toppings
    • Guacamole
    • Tomato salsa
    • Sour cream
    • Shredded lettuce


    1. Prepare 125g Waitrose Wholesome Organic Red Kidney Beans according to pack instructions. In a non-stick frying pan, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and fry 1 chopped onion and 1 deseeded diced red pepper over a low heat for 10 minutes or until soft.
    2. Add the prepared beans and 1-2 tsp Schwartz Cajun Seasoning, then fry for 1-2 minutes to heat through. Spoon on to 4 x Mission Multigrain Deli Wraps and serve with a choice of toppings: shredded lettuce, sour cream, tomato salsa and guacamole.
    3. Wrap in a cigar shape and cut diagonally before serving.
