    Chicken Maryland

    • Preparation time: 10 minutes
    • Cooking time: 30 minutes
    • Total time: 40 minutes 40 minutes

    • 100g plain flour
    • Salt
    • 3 medium eggs, beaten
    • 250g fine fresh breadcrumbs
    • 3 tbsp sunflower oil
    • 4 chicken wings
    • 4 chicken drumsticks


    1. Preheat the oven to 220°C/gas mark 7. Take 3 shallow bowls. Into one, put the flour, mixed with a pinch of salt, into the second put the eggs, into the third put the breadcrumbs and the oil, mixed well together.
    2. Dip each chicken joint into the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumbs. Make sure each joint gets a thorough coating.
    3. Put the chicken joints on a baking tray lined with foil. Bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown. Serve with sautéed bananas.
