Essential bolognese with tagliatelle

1 tbsp Essential Olive Oil
500g Essential British Beef Mince (typically 10% fat)
1 Essential Onion, chopped
400g can Essential Chopped Tomatoes
1 tbsp Essential Tomato Purée
100ml beef stock
500g pack fresh Essential Tagliatelle
Shavings from 175g pack Essential Parmigiano Reggiano (optional)
1. Warm the oil in a large non-stick saucepan then fry the mince and onion for 5 minutes until browned. Add the tomatoes, tomato purée and stock. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally then season.
2. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to pack instructions, then drain thoroughly and return to the pan.
3. Stir the Bolognese into the tagliatelle and serve topped with shavings of cheese (if using).
