Nutty baked apples

50g mixed nuts, roughly chopped
50g dried mixed fruit, roughly chopped
4 tbsp mincemeat
4 Bramley apples
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Stir the nuts and dried fruit into the mincemeat.
2. Core the apples and, using a sharp knife, score around the middle. Fill with the mincemeat mixture, then place in an ovenproof dish with a little water. Top each apple with a knob of butter and bake for 35 minutes.
