    Orange Wine


    • 2 oranges
    • 1 bottle Rose Wine
    • 200g sugar
    • 100ml water
    • 100ml vodka or tequilla


    1. Chop the peel and pith of 2 oranges into about 16 pieces. Place in a jar with a bottle of rosé wine, cover, seal and leave to infuse for 48 hours in a cool place. Make a syrup with 200g sugar and 100ml water.
    2. Add this to the wine and orange mixture together with 100ml vodka or tequila. Allow it to infuse for a further week, well sealed, before straining into a bottle and chilling to make an apéritif with a difference.
    3. It keeps for up to two months in the refrigerator.
