    Shredded Beef and Seville Orange Stir Fry

    Ready in 30 minutes or less

    • Preparation time: 15 minutes
    • Cooking time: 7 minutes to 8 minutes

    Serves: 2


    • 150g essential Waitrose Rump Steak, cut into thin strips
    • Juice of 1 Seville or navel orange, plus thin strips of peel, shredded
    • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp Cooks' Ingredients Dark Soy Sauce
    • 1 tbsp groundnut oil
    • ½ x 300g pack essential Waitrose Green Beans, trimmed and halved


    1. Put the beef in a bowl, with the orange juice, sugar and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly, then leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
    2. Heat the oil, then stir-fry the beef for a minute, reserving the marinade. Add the beans and fry for 4–5 minutes until just tender.
    3. Season generously with black pepper and add the reserved marinade. Bring to the boil and cook for a further 2 minutes. Serve with steamed Thai jasmine rice and the shredded orange peel.
